Something wasn't adding up.
I was working across convention centers, hotels, and destination organizations, watching conferences drive millions in value across entire cities, while the way we measured them stayed surface-level. The data existed, but it wasn’t connected. It didn’t explain behavior or make the next decision any more clearer.
That gap became impossible to ignore.
After studying data analytics and applying it to a full post-conference evaluation, everything shifted. Patterns became visible and decisions became grounded. That work became the foundation for Red Cloak.
Now, I approach conferences differently. Not as single events or summary reports, but as systems to be examined closely. Where alignment broke down. Where value was left on the table. Where audiences weren’t fully understood or grouped too broadly. Where themes didn’t land. This is the work.
If there’s interest in seeing what’s being missed and what could be strengthened, the conversation is open.
